THE REALITY OF TRADING

Steven enters a trade. He finds himself to be on the wrong side. What should he do?

If he is like the majority of losing traders, he will wish, hope, and pray that the trade will turn around, waiting one more tick, one more tick, while the loss continues to mount against him. In reality, Steven is doing nothing.

Steven needs to learn to fight another time.

He should act fast to get out of a losing position and keep his losses to a minimum.

Acting immediately once his pre-planned losing criteria has been met will minimise his losses. Although it feels like a fail, Steven executed the trade to the best of his ability. Steven has done his job.
