Whilst a significant close beyond a 3rd deviation marks acceleration, especially when the time of day is linked, in normal conditions the 3-rd. deviation marks the limit of fair value.

Once again, the time of day can influence when a signal is more likely to work, as well as how far the trend has already been in existence.

On 10-year notes the later in the day the signal appears the more likely the signal is mark a short-term extreme.
