WHO ARE WE?
Stellar Trader Academy are 100% owned by Stellar Education Limited, who were the first UK training provider, accredited by SKILLSFIRST, to offer an insight into the world of online learning and examination in Financial Trading, both at Certificate (L3) and Diploma (L5) level.
Since then, Stellar Education Limited have extended their product range to provide key online learning and examinations in finance and well-being, at CPD, L1 and L2 levels, all of which can be used across a wide range of industries.
Stellar uses a bespoke learning management system (LMS) for the delivery of the qualifications and they are assessed using a unique Online Invigilation System, which cannot be cheated or manipulated and, in itself, meets the strict guidelines set by the awarding organisation, SKILLSFIRST, who are in turn regulated by OFQUAL.
Stellar cater for two key industry sectors, Financial Services and Further Education and now have 7 SKILLSFIRST accredited courses.

Phil Sharpe
Partner
Phil worked in the London insurance market for over 38 years. In his last role, he was the Chief Operating Officer for the UK & Ireland region at Chubb European Group. In this capacity, Phil was responsible for all 12 branch offices within the region and had responsibility for all Global and Corporate account customers, across all lines of business and product services. Phil was also a member of the Executive Committee, which reported into the Chubb European Board of Directors.
Phil joined Chubb from AIG in 2008, where he was Director of the Liabilities Division. In over 38 years of experience within the insurance industry, he held senior management positions Chubb, AIG & AXA Global Risks.
Gary Sinclair-House
Founder and Partner
Gary has 20+ years' experience within the finance industry and has undertaken several roles within the finance sector, from private banker, trader, trader trainer/coach, senior manager, director and consultant. He has designed trading strategies in Commodities, Equities, Fixed Income, FX & Indices. Gary set up and managed trading operations in Canada, Gibraltar, Poland, Singapore, Spain & the UK, where he taught and mentored traders, as well as managing the global operations with 150+ staff within proprietary trading.
Gary has developed and delivered financial trading and finance training courses to global companies and individuals for over ten years, both online and classroom based.
Gary wrote the RQF National certified qualifications in Level 3 Certificate in Financial Trading & Level 5 Diploma in Financial Trading, which is taught and sold through Stellar Trader Academy. Gary is NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programme) certified, with experience in helping people develop successful life strategies, both professionally and personally.
John Lymm
Partner
John has worked as a consultant with the FE (Further Education) sector for 30+ years, working with FE Colleges, Employers and Training Providers. Within this role he devises, implements and supports business planning, compliance, procurement bids and contracts, strategy and external regulation.
John is a Business Growth Director for a training provider, trustee for a charity helping people with complex needs and a member of the Disability Action Group, working with his local council to improve disability access.

Their team are passionate and dedicated about making CPD easily benchmarked, accessible, transparent and consistent for all individuals and organisations enrolling in CPD activities.
The main aim of the CPD Group is to review CPD activities, processes and criteria, ensuring all of their accredited activities are robust and of high quality.
